TEAC LX-110 LX-120 Series

A true combination of stand alone data recorder
and front end for online analysis.
The premium choice for mobile applications..

TEAC LX-110 LX-120 Data Logger & Dynamic Signal Analyzer

Recording and reproduction performance of the LX series is a vast amount higher than the performance of a DAT tape recorder.

The new LX series of ROGA-Instruments was designed as a fast and easy to install data acquisition system with highly reliable recording and reproduction functionality. And it can be used in laboratories and in mobile operation. With a similar user friendly user interface as RD recorders the LX series offers additionally much more signal bandwidth. The whole series allows connecting directly modern sensors and is able to work together with computers and analysis applications. It is capable to run with very high data processing performance and it was designed to minimize cost for data recording. LX series offers a lot more recording capabilities at higher rates of performance and it provides all advantages of compact data recorders.

PC based FFT Analyzer; 8-32 channel IEPE Input

The LX offers extended recording functionality. It was designed with the advantages of compact data recorders in mind.

LX with remote control

LX series is operated as stand alone recorder. It stores data to a MO disk or a PC card. Additionally it is possible to connect it as a front end to a PC. In conjunction with DASYLab® this provides real-time analysis capability.

DASYLab®

LX directly connected to a PC

LX series supports recording media which can be directly accessed by PC drives. Furthermore there is a high speed interface which provides higher performance for connections to a PC. This means to the user her or his efficiency during tests and recording is a lot better.

LX-10 Description

The LX-10 offer basic recording and reproduction functionality. The recording media can be selected and the configuration of the input and output channels is programmable.

Select among three kinds of storage:

  • 576MB internal memory which archives with maximum data rate;
  • PC card (Flash Card & IBM Microdrive ™)enables data recording in environments with vibrations;
  • 3.5" MO disk for long time data archiving.

Simultaneous recording to media and PC:
Select between IEEE 1394 and SCSI interface for connecting a PC. During recording to storage media data can be transmitted to a PC, can be displayed at the PC, can be analyzed with DASYLab®, and can be stored on the hard disk of the PC – and all of this at the same time. This is the perfect solution for safe data recording and fast data analysis at the same time.

Higher Bandwidth
LX series is capable to record signals of eight channels with 20 kHz bandwidth at 48 kHz sample rate per channel to internal media. This offers the doubled recording performance in comparison to DAT based recorders. If the internal RAM or the real-time transmission to the PC over the IEEE 1394 FireWire interface is used eight channels with 40 kHz bandwidth at 96 kHz sample rate are available. Using Fast Ethernet it is possible to sample 8 channels with 20 kHz bandwidth at a sample rate of 48 kHz.

I/O Amplifier Cards in 8 Channel Quantities
There are three kinds of input amplifier cards available: A DC input amplifier, a DC/ICP input amplifier with attachable constant current supply, TEDS support, and a strain input amplifier. The available output amplifier is able to output analog voltages during recording. Furthermore "copies" of the input values of both input amplifier cards can be output.

Lower Sample Rates for Longer Recording Times
The DC input amplifier supports lower sample rates. Recording times can be configured with sample rates between 1 kHz and 1/60 Hz.

Controlling the Main Unit with a Remote Control or a PC
The main unit of the LX series is equipped with LEDs and keys which are used for recording. After anything is configured the recording can be started immediately. If a remote control unit or a PC is used other operations like system setup, record, observation and playback can be started. The recording can be observed with a bar meter at the remote control unit or with a PC if the LX Navi software is run. LX Navi allows displaying bar meters, wave forms and digitally represented values.

LX-20 Description

In addition to recording and playback functionality of the LX-10 series the LX-20 offers even more selectable sample rates, and tachometer pulse inputs. A signal generator and several analog weighting filters are available also.

Wide Range of Sample Rates for Frequency Analysis
If LX-20 is used as front end additional sample rates of 65536 kHz, 100 kHz, and 102.4 kHz can be selected – very useful for FFT analysis data recording.

Direct Rotational Speed Inputs
LX-20 is also equipped with 1x/2x tachometer pulse inputs and – no analog input channel is lost.

Output to Vibration Simulators and Speakers
The monitor output of the LX-20 provides a wave form generator. Therefore data recording can be achieved while sinus waves, white or pink noise is output to vibration simulators or speakers.
