VibDIN Series - Description

 

The VibDIN Series are measurement modules mounted on DIN rail.

The VibDIN SMM-4V20 Standard module is a one channel measurement module working with ICP ® (IEPE) standard sensors.

The VibDIN Extended module incorporates all features of Standard module and additionally is equipped with digital communication with module PSS-300. Multichannel system assembled with Extended modules enables asynchronous sampling.

VibDIN Extended+ module incorporates all features of Extended module plus synchronous sampling. Modules set up in one system are synchronous sampled for all channels.

The VibDIN SMM- 4D20 module is a level indicator. LED display and bargraph meter presenting current values
measured by VibDIN module.

The SMM-4T20 module is a temperature module. It measures temperature from ICP sensors (in standard version) or any other sensor with voltage mode output (optionally).

The PSS-100 module is a power supply with RS 485 interface.

The PSS-200 module with is a power supply with built in interface ethernet operating TCP/IP protocol.

 

 

The PSS-300 module is a power supply with remote configuration of connected modules and access to the Internet.

 

 

VibDIN SMM-4V20 Standard

 

is a one channel measurement module working with ICP ® (IEPE) standard sensors. It is possible to handle other types of sensors according to request coming from potential customer.
VibDIN Standard module enables different types of vibration signals processing. All parameters are set up by an user. The module measures: acceleration or velocity or displacement and later indicator is calculated: RMS or PEAK. If signal coming from a sensor is faint we can amplify it by implemented gains (x1, x10). User can use built in HP and LP filters (3Hz-1kHz or 10Hz-1kHz). Calculated value is transformed into 4..20mA standard, it allows for a direct connecting of VibDIN system to superior system like PLC, DCS, SCADA.

All changes in parameters (gain, filters, value, unit) are made by buttons at the front panel of device.Next to buttons are placed LEDs which confirm selected configuration.

VibDIN standard module is equipped with autodiagnostic procedure. Device can detect malfunction of measuring chain (open/short) and it additionally checks current loop 4..20mA.

 

   

Power Packs for VibDIN

 

PSS-100 Power supply module with RS 485 interface. It allows an access to all connected modules and remote configuration of them from PC.

PSS-200 Power supply module with built in interface ethernet operating TCP/IP protocol. It allows an access to all connected modules and remote configuration of them from PC
PSS-300 Power supply module with remote configuration of connected modules and access to the Internet.

It makes possible full modules operation over Internet from any point in the world. Module has built in server WWW and FTP.

PSS-300 module can optionally be equipped with Flash memory socket intended for a data acquisition from measurement modules.

To each power pack PSS-xxx You can connect up to 16 VibDIN modules.

   

VibDIN Extended

 

  this module incorporates all features of Standard module and additionally is equipped with digital communication

Level Indicator

 

VibDIN Display SMM- 4D20, LED display and bargraph meter presenting current values measured by VibDIN module. User can configure warning and alarm levels for connected VibDIN module. Addtionally level indicator is equipped with relay outputs correlated to set up warning and alarm levels. Relay outputs can be connected to machine protection system. One module SMM-4D20 works with only one VibDIN module.

 

Temperature module

 

SMM-4T20 module measures temperature from ICP sensors (in standard version) or any other sensor with voltage mode output (optionally).

This module can be adapted to measurement of signals in range 0-10V, 4..20mA. It can collaborate with level indicator SMM-4D20. The most recent versions of drivers, programming interface and software are obtainable through ROGA-Instruments.



All modules are intended to mounting on DIN Rail (35mm). This solution enables easy adding or removing channels to/from the system. An user can decide how many modules is to be installed in one place (flexible structure).
